I'm back from my short-notice business trip to Detroit (Sunday early am to Tuesday evening). It was definitely worthwhile but I just wish it had been planned a little earlier.
I flew Southwest and ATA, my first trips on either airline. It was kind of a pain having to pick up my boarding pass for the second half of each flight in Chicago (apparently they work together on flights but not well enough to print tickets for each other). The Southwest flights worked pretty well although their "no assigned seats" concept takes some getting used to. I got exit rows each time and sat next to a woman on the first flight who gave me some free drink coupons.
Missed out on my chance to vote today but it looks like Coleman didn't really need me
. I heard Kelly on MPR tonight and wasn't too impressed. I'm sure he didn't really feel free to be honest, but I would have liked to hear that he'd realized that endorsing Bush was about the dumbest thing he could have done. I like to hear that people have recognized their mistakes and learned from them.
