Halloween 2008- Captain Hammer
The recent story of a child with cancer whose parents don't want to treat it is frustrating. On the one hand I don't like the idea of parents harming a child by withholding needed medical treatments. On the other hand, it's probably best for society if people like this are allowed to remove themselves from the gene pool.

It's awesome when a child's life is threatened by a rip-off of a 9 year old South Park plot.

Isn't the kid also unwilling to receive chemotherapy? If that's true, what else should we do? Strap down the kid and give him chemotherapy forcibly? That would be a pretty ugly scene. Would the assumption be that he would change his mind later on in life?

The kid is also illiterate, and unlikely to be able to make an informed decision about anything.

Assuming he survives, taking him away from his mother may be the only way he can get an education. Poor kid has a lot of lost ground to make up.
