Halloween 2008- Captain Hammer
Weekend wrapup-

Friday- Went to the Highland Grill for dinner. Good food. Decided to see a movie after dinner so we went across the street and saw Pirates of the Caribbean. Good movie, lousy seats. (I took one of the extra wide seats so I actually had some legroom. The normal width seats kept my legs straight out in front of me, jammed into the next row of seats.) I thought I recognized one of the pirates. I checked IMDB on Sunday and discovered that I did recognize him but that he also died of an apparent drug overdose back in June. It's kind of sad, I liked him in Mortal Kombat and Dead Tides.

Saturday- Went to the buffet at India Palace then back home for some Ape Escape 2 and Simpsons: Road Rage. The Simpsons game is actually a pretty good Crazy Taxi clone. Definitely not a game to keep you entertained for months, but fun for a while. I hope the Simpsons GTA style game due out soon isn't as bad as most of the other Simpsons licensed games. Anyway, after a while monstersocks came over and we watched I Love The '70s- 1976 (that's the year the Muppet Show debuted) and then went to jodi's theater to see Irma Vep. A very enjoyable and silly play.

This week we have our big release at work (unless it's postponed again), monstersocks and I will go to the Liz Phair show and maybe I'll get to see Cannibal!, The Musical.

Well, if he's dead I guess he won't resurface on JAG, either. That's too bad. I didn't know he was in Pirates, either. Now I have another reason to go see it. (Besides the badgering from all sides)
