It might not be a train

The good news: We know what was wrong with monstersocks back in January.
The bad news: We know this because she's sick again.

Back in January monstersocks was afraid that it might be an allergic reaction to a new medication. Doctors weren't really sure what it was with all sorts of diagnoses ranging from Fifth's Disease to Viral Meningitis. She stopped taking the medication after she got sick and hadn't tried to go back on it until last week. Shortly after starting to take it again she got a bad bad headache and had to leave work early on Thursday. Later she got a bad fever (104+) and other unpleasant symptoms. I brought her dinner and ended up sticking around to take care of her until Sunday evening. We made it out of the house on Friday to see the doctor and then again on Sunday for Easter dinner with her family. monstersocks is definitely getting better but is still not having much fun at all.

Not much more to say about the weekend than that. We did watch Spider-Man on Saturday night. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Hybrid cars keep taunting me. And taunting me. I still haven't tried driving a Prius yet. I'm hoping to wait another couple years for them to get even cooler with more fun toys (and more competition). Great mileage and very low emissions but I mostly just care about the cool gadgets.

Sort of like Saving Private Ryan, except only one person in the family has died and now the family wants the others sent home.
