The flight went really well. (I still get a feeling of dread when heading to the airport after my numerous flight problems last year.) The flight left from the same area of MSP that I spent a lot of time in around Christmas last year. There was some sort of medical emergency in the rear of the plane (that's the first time I've actually heard a flight attendant ask if there's a doctor on board). Paramedics boarded the plane once we landed. That's about the extent of the story, I have no idea who was sick or what happened with it. Picked up my car (refusing their offer of a Jaguar instead for a larger pile of money) and drove out to my brother and sister-in-law's house. I spent the evening with them, my niece and mother. I'll be picking my father up at a different airport tomorrow.
I watched the new Dr. Who on the plane and played some Wipeout. As we were exiting the guy sitting next to me asked about the PSP. I gave him the very brief description since there wasn't time for the full explanation. He'd been watching a larger DVD player with a screen that wasn't nearly as nice as the PSP's. I think he liked the idea of a smaller device, although I'm sure the realities of the pain and suffering involved in converting a DVD for PSP use would dissuade most casual users.
My sister-in-law had to stay up all last night for a test today and it turns out she kept herself awake by playing on the internet, reading through this journal and my other site.
Bah. I just realized that I forgot to change the time zone on my laptop so it's actually an hour later than I thought it was. Oh well, time for bed.
