Way too much work this week. We had catastrophic hardware failure on Saturday that required me to leave CON, head to work for four or five hours then come back. We had some other cleanup issues that required some work on Sunday/Monday. Next we had a scheduled job that failed because a mentally deficient former coworker never imagined that an employee could work as much as one did on Wednesday. (It wasn't a problem for seven-eight years but all of a sudden we got really busy.)

Anyway, too much work and not enough play.

At home I finally got around to writing a perl script to make redirect pages for a bunch of my old visi/.mac pages to my new site. Now an attempt to go to my old CONvergence 2001 pictures gets redirected to my new CONvergence 2001 pictures, etc. I also replaced all the images with informative placeholders. Not a tremendous accomplishment but it feels good to actually get something done on that front.

I've been to the dentist several times in the past month or so. Yesterday I picked up a new bite splint which should prevent me from grinding my teeth down to little nubbins at night. I think I slept okay with it in but had several dreams where I'd already worn a hole through it after one night or broken it. My teeth were a little sore after taking it off, hopefully that'll go away soon.

Watched a little Wonder Showzen recently. Some parts were very funny, some were more unpleasant than funny (mostly scatalogical).
