Went to the gym on Monday. Worked out. Stopped by Best Buy on the way home to see if they had any Game Boy Micros in stock yet. They did. Ran into watterflower and briangee while I was there. I provided them with a little advice and felt a little bit like a gadget pusher. He ended up getting a new PSP and she got a nano (which required a trip to the Rosedale Apple Store to get a black one).

Got up early on Saturday for a planned trip down to Faribault. As we were getting ready to leave we discovered that the trip would not in fact work so we came up with plan b. We did a little shopping on Grand Ave (including picking up some cupcakes from Wuollet) then went to the moa where a vast quantity of time was spent looking for clothing. Vast quantity. Didn't even get doughnuts. Came home to a fancy dinner of pizza (despite the delivery guy's failure to read the instructions on our entry system and his apparent failure to have a cellphone) and watched the season premiere of Lost. Much better than last season's finale.

Sunday also had some shopping for clothing, fortunately more fruitful than most of Saturday.

Today a coworker gave me a handful of expired Twixes. I got more done today than I expected to since our morale event was postponed to tomorrow when I won't be here.

I've been playing Final Fantasy 1 on the gba recently (although recently is in the neighborhood of a year at this point, on and off, mostly when I'm traveling). One problem of playing so unobsessively is that I forget where I was and end up wandering around aimlessly for a while after picking it up again. I finally restored to checking a faq recently just to figure out where I was supposed to go next. That's a problem I have with some games these days, I don't want to spend the time and effort it takes to keep track of which areas I've visited and which I haven't and where the next task is located.
