Halloween 2008- Captain Hammer
If a programmer asks you, "So, does this data have a unique integer identifier?" please don't say yes if it's actually an alphanumeric string identifier.

Aside from irritating work problems that shouldn't have happened in the first place, things are good. Bravo's been showing Twin Peaks at 4am recently so my TiVo has been filling up on them. I'd been thinking of dumping them to tape but just gave up and started watching them last night. I love that show.

I finally got my pictures ready for a present for somebody. I still need to work on choosing the exact ones to use and the layout, but I think this should be cool.

I was a huge fan of the show, until i read an interview with David Lynch where he admitted that fater the first ten or so episodes, they were "just making shit up on set that we thought was wierd." That ruined it for me, and I haven't been able to watch it since.

And I mean huge fan. I seriously contemplating buying a plane ticket to go to a Twin Peaks convention. I would have, if I hadn't been at the U at the time, and hadn't had a final scheduled the Monday after the convention.

I remember reading that Lynch didn't want to solve Laura's murder. He wanted to keep it in the background for the entire (hopefully very long) run of the series. The network pressured him to wrap it up more quickly which required some changes. Some of the season 2 stuff was good, but on the whole it wasn't as good as the first.

(I believe Ted Raimi also had a small role in season 2 as a hitchhiker killed by Windom Earle.)
