Went to the first night of the Reunion activities. Got to see some old friends and many acquaintances (I think jdm314 is the only one who was there with a livejournal). Took a few pictures. Ran into a few people I recognized but couldn't really explain why I knew them. Ran into a few people from various classes and shared fond memories of professors no longer at Macalester.

We decided to skip out on the Battle of the Bands and went out to Moscow on the Hill for dinner (we being defined as monstersocks ('97), Björn, Ian and Laura ('98)). Björn and Margaret stopped by our apartment afterwards and we shared some of monstersocks' cake with them.

Plenty more events tomorrow and maybe some additional time with folks on Sunday. Lots of people doing computer stuff and a growing number of librarians.

I finally gave up on the DVD release of the second half of the second season of Battlestar Galactica and downloaded the second season. I'll probably still buy the DVDs but without a date it's hard to wait.
