Halloween 2008- Captain Hammer
monstersocks and I made it back from North Carolina just fine today despite somehow having arranged flights with a 25 minute layover in Memphis. The snow removal people we hired to take care of things while we were away seem to have kept things in decent order. Haven't gotten the bill yet.

We had sunny days in the 60s in Durham and rainy days in the 50s. We encountered beer with clamato in it at a gas station and then later made the mistake of trying it.

Tonight we had enough energy to stay at home and watch Corpse Bride on the PS3. I had assumed it was computer generated emulating puppets, not actual puppets.

We saw the beer with Clamato in Texas last month. What is it with the south?

Given the article to which I linked, I'd say it's that the south is a bit closer to Mexico than Minnesota.

I saw that beer in the store about a month ago but wasn't bold enough to try it. I bow to your greater sense of adventure.

We actually bought it for my father to try. He poured a large glass of it (it was a 24 oz. can), tried one sip then looked a little green around the gills. I had a small glass of it (maybe two shots worth). I already think most beer tastes gross so it probably wasn't as much of a problem for me to have tomatoey beer.
