Second thoughts

An astute observer of Twin Cities lawn signs noted that many "Say no to war with Iraq" signs stand where, 27 months ago, "Nader/Laduke" signs were planted. "Would they need the Iraq signs if they had not done the ego trip with Ralph Nader? Probably not," our observer opined.

I know I stand alone on this point- but it seems to me that you should be blaming the people who voted for Bush (or, well, the Supreme Court, anyway).

you do not, in fact, stand alone on this point.

We've gone through all of this many times before, but here goes:

People who voted for Bush piss me off because they wanted lower taxes for the rich and reduced environmental protection.
The supreme court piss me off because they basically appointed Bush to office for selfish political reasons.
Nader voters piss me off because they didn't support lower taxes for the rich or reduced environmental protection so they voted for a crackpot with no chance of winning as a way of "sending a message" instead of voting for the guy who actually showed some interest in protecting the environment.

I wasn't too crazy about Gore, especially with Lieberman on the ticket, but he most definitely was the lesser of two evils.
