I meant to leave work at a reasonable hour yesterday but got caught in a kind of interesting piece of code at work and didn't leave until well after 7pm which meant I got to the gym later than usual and didn't get home until after 9pm and had the energy to eat some pizza and watch some tv and read some magazines and that was about it. Maybe I'll try and figure out some goal for this week like cleaning out the piles of unread magazines in one of my bookshelves or plowing through some of the bins of "stuff that's so important I need to keep it on this flat surface but now the surface is too cluttered so I'll just put this in a bit for a little while and sort through it real soon now I promise even though I know it'll just sit there unexamined for a long time."
As of this morning I've lost as much weight as my doctor wanted me to lose (actually one pound more). I was also supposed to go back and get my cholesterol checked again six months after that appointment which was now about a year and a half ago. I should try and schedule another checkup sometime soon but I'm very good at procrastinating with that kind of thing (most of the phone jacks in my apartment have stopped working but I haven't gotten around to calling Qwest yet, maybe I'll do that tonight.)
I still don't have a new laptop. I'm going to try and wait for the next round of updates but I'm generally not very good at waiting.
